Project Media Zone is a Bronx-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We welcome conversations with foundations whose giving priorities include media literacy, youth development, arts access, or community capacity-building.
Our core programs, media training, production support, and community capacity-building, give Bronx residents the skills and equipment to tell their own stories. A foundation partnership can support a specific program, help us reach more participants, or fund infrastructure like our Mobile Media Zone production van.
So far that has meant 6 community members trained, 3 completed media projects, and more than 60 combined editing and photography sessions delivered, with more in progress.
We are happy to share a full program overview, budget, and outcomes for any letter of inquiry or grant application.
